Stevie G is a Cork-based DJ known for spreading the hip-hop, soul, Afro & dancehall gospel throughout Ireland for many years. He will be joined by rapper Outsider YP, a young alternative and conceptual artist  who has built a big reputation for himself and his Outsiders label. Inspired by anime, comic books, manga and artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Childish Gambino and J. Cole, YP has a unique blend of reality and fiction in his lyrics delivered by various flows and unorthodox beats. He is an often lyrical and experimental artist with various, sometimes unpredictable styles.

Citadel is a group of musicians from Kinsale Road Accommodation centre, who refuse to be put down by the system. They are from 8 different countries, playing together and bringing you music from Burundi, Algeria, South Africa, Pakistan, India, Ukraine and Russia. The musicians perform songs from home, accompanied by rhythms and tunes from the world. Citadel raises awareness and spreads joy, peace and understanding by sharing their music with each other and with the Irish community. The group was formed in September, after a successful world music day, and have since performed in the International Guitar festival in Clonakilty, the fundraiser for MASI in Dolan’s Warehouse in Limerick, Culture night in Cork, the Intercultural day in Middleton and GLOW festival in Cork. The aim of Citadel is to travel around Ireland to places with other direct provision centres, to find the musicians in those centres, and perform with them, showing off the amazing talent that is hidden in these open prisons. Citadel is currently fundraising to buy sound equipment. If you wish to support the initiative, see https://www.gofundme.com/support-Citadel-world-music-from-direct-provision
