"Make Way Day" Talk & Walk-Around
“Make Way Day” takes place in September of every year.
Make Way Day is a campaign that brings the disability and wider community together to consider the needs of people with disabilities in the public spaces we all share.
It is led by the Disability Federation of Ireland and is a unique collaboration across Ireland and the voluntary and local government sectors. But most of all it’s about people with disabilities.
This event as part of UCC Equality week is to raise awareness amongst the UCC community and encourage people to be involved in the National Make Way Day in September.
It is a ‘Make Way Day’ Awareness Talk and Walk-Around (in preparation for the ‘Make Way Day’ in September) with Pierce Richardson, Community Development Worker with the Disability Federation of Ireland.
Free - all welcome. Organised by DSS, UCC
