UCC Civil Engineering Graduate Brendan Tuohy wins UCC Alumnus Award 2014

Congratulations to our alumnus Brendan Tuohy (BE Civil Engineering, UCC, 1977) who was recently conferred with a UCC Alumnus Award for his ongoing service to Irish education and engineering.
Brendan is Former Secretary General of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. He is Chairman of the UN-established body, the Global eSchools & Communities initiative, the National Maritime College of Ireland Advisory Board among many other roles. Brendan is an outstanding advocate for UCC and has supported and provided expert advice to each of the four Colleges, both individually and collectively, and the University as a whole.
