Planning Approval for Capitol Cinema Site Redevelopment

An Bord Pleanala has granted planning permission for a major mixed-use development in Cork City Centre on the site of the former Capitol Cinema. The project will generate 200 construction jobs and 1,000 direct and indirect jobs once completed.
The site is being developed by John Cleary Developments and is the latest in a series of high quality developments in Cork, including the One Albert Quay office complex and UCC's Beaufort Building in Ringaskiddy.
