Senior Lecturer, Medical Education

COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH

In recent years, the Medical School at UCC has embarked on a process of far reaching reform of its medical curriculum and is currently engaged in implementing these reforms. In response to the adoption by Government of the Fottrell report on Medical Education this year, the Medical School wishes to invite applications for a number of key academic appointments in medical education to work with the Director of Medical Education to deliver the new curriculum to the highest possible standard.

Research activity will be facilitated through affiliations with cognate disciplines in the University and with individuals with similar research interests.

SENIOR LECTURER

Applications are invited for this full time permanent post with particular responsibility for co-ordinating student research and special study modules.    A Ph.D or an equivalent higher research degree together with experience of research and course development at tertiary level are requirements of the post.

Salary scale [new entrants]:€65,036 – €92,150 p.a.
