Marie Curie Research Fellowships in Microbiology (6 Posts)

We are seeking 4 Experienced Research Fellows and 2 Senior Research Fellows to contribute to an exciting project in the use of the zebrafish as a host system to study microbial pathogenicity, and in the use of metagenomic platform technology to facilitate novel drug discovery.  The research fellows will be based in the Department of Microbiology and Environmental Research Institute, University College Cork.

The researchers will work within the Signal Transduction (ST) Cluster to ensure the transfer, integration and embedding of the newly-acquired technologies.Research fellows will advise and collaborate with the core team.  

The Experienced Research Fellow positions are for a 24 month period, (salary €42,000- €47,000 pa).

The Senior Research Fellow positions are for a 12 month period (salary  €68,500 - €70,500 pa).

All above positions include a relocation, travel and career development award.

These positions are open to suitably qualified candidates of any nationality meeting Marie Curie Actions eligibility criteria.
