Applications are invited for the post of Consultant/Professor ofRestorative Dentistry (Periodontology). Duties shall include teaching and examining, undertakingadministrative duties, clinical practice in the area of Periodontology andother duties appropriate to the post under the general direction of the Head ofthe Dental School and Hospital.  

 The successful candidate will possess a doctorate or appropriate professional qualification or a significant record ofresearch and publication in the relevant discipline; have a dental degree andbe registered with the Dental Council of Ireland, or equivalent body and have postgraduate specialist qualifications in Periodontology, and have completed higher specialist training in Periodontology accredited by a Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent.
