Ireland could benefit from greenhouse gas finding

Professor Kiely, Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCC and his team have found that Irish Grasslands capture atmospheric carbon. Currently Irish agriculture gains no financial benefit from this carbon sequestration. It is now time to lobby to realise these benefits to Irish agriculture.
