€90m Office Development for Cork City

Developer O'Callaghan Properties has said it intends to apply for planning permission for an office development of 50,000 sq. m in the docklands area, sufficient to accommodate 3,000 workers.
The proposed development will be one of the largest in the city in recent decades, and will be situated on the site of the former terminus of the Blackrock and Passage railway line near Albert Road. The development will create hundreds of jobs in construction, civil engineering, engineering services, as well as housing thousands of workers once complete. The project complements the nearby office development at One Albert Quay.
