10 projects that will transform Cork

The Irish Times has featured ten major projects that will transform Cork and the surrounding area.
Construction projects dominate the list, including developments at the Port of Cork's Ringaskiddy facility, the €70m upgrade of Pairc Ui Chaoimh stadium and the development of Spike Island as a tourism and recreational amenity. Other projects featured include the IMERC maritime and renewable energy cluster at Ringaskiddy and the extension of the city boundary. The article is featured as the first in a series on the city and people of Cork in the Irish Times.
