Movember Mustashed Medics bake for Cancer & Mental Health charities
Having already dedicated the month of November to taking part in 'Movember' a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health, senior medical demonstrators Dr Johnny O'Mahony and Dr Muhammad Asim Javaid joined by Dr Gilliard Lach post doctoral researcer, demonstrated their organisational and baking skills by hosting a 'Bake Sale' in aid of the Irish Cancer Society and Mental Health Charities in the Western Gateway building on Friday 25th November.
Assisted by staff of the department who helped by providing cookies, cakes, moral support and all important moustache themed compliments the 'Bake Sale' raised a very impressive €300 on the day.
These three dedicated Moustacheers known collectively as 'Team Warm Lip, Cold Face', have to date raised over €800 for their charities. They are still activilly collecting for their the Irish Cancer Society and Mental Health Charities on their website http://moteam.co/warm-lip-cold-face
