Student trip to the Abbey Theatre

Final Year students of Engaging the Profession are excited about their Dublin field trip this week to see Porcelain by Margaret Perry at the Peacock Theatre.

Margaret Perry, an alumna of the School of Music and Theatre, will meet the students for a post-show talk. Coordinator of the module, Dr. Marie Kelly, has also lined up meetings for the students in Dublin with Jane Daly, co-director of the Irish Theatre Institute (see http://www.irishtheatreinstitute.ie/page.aspx?t=the_team&contentid=53 ) and Olwen Dawe, strategic arts advisor and Board member of CoiCéim Dance Theatre, Poetry Ireland and National Women’s Council of Ireland (see https://www.olwendawe.com/about ).
