Welcoming the next generation of healthcare professionals to UCC!
UCC Open Evening for Senior Cycle Students
On March 18, the College of Medicine and Health was delighted to welcome senior cycle students, their parents and families to UCC for our Open Evening.
The evening offered prospective students a real opportunity to experience UCC, from exploring our beautiful campus and facilities, to having meaningful conversations with our staff and students about courses, career pathways, and what life at UCC is truly like. It was fantastic to see so many people beginning to picture their future here.
There was a wonderful energy throughout, with animated chats at our stands in DeVere Hall and a highly engaged audience in the Aula Maxima for inspiring talks from Dr Teresa Wills (School of Nursing and Midwifery UCC) and Prof Janas Harrington (The School of Public Health UCC).
It’s exciting to think that the next generation of healthcare professionals were on campus with us last night, taking those first important steps towards their future.
A sincere thank you to all our staff and students who shared their time, knowledge, and experiences so generously.
