The College of Medicine and Health at UCC Innovation Week 2025

SEFS/CoMH/Tyndall Innovation and Commercialisation Showcase
This year, UCC's Innovation Week takes place from 7 - 11 April. The aim of Innovation Week is to showcase some of the excellent innovations from across the UCC ecosystem, and to encourage UCC students, graduates, and researchers alike to think about the different ways that their ideas and research can be transformed to create economic and societal impact.
Many of the events scheduled across campus during Innovation Week are multi-disciplinary and include exciting collaborations between different Colleges and Research Institutes in UCC.
On Monday, the Colleges of Medicine and Health, Science, Engineering and Food Sciences, and Tyndall National Institute held a collaborative event in the Aula Maxima which showcased different innovations and their pathways to creating impact.
The Showcase was powerful demonstration of the strength that lies in crossing disciplinary boundaries. Developing these interactions and growing them will be key as we look to embed UCC Futures which is reimagining research & innovation across the University through interdisciplinary collaboration.
A full list of events happening through the week are available the events page.
