'Creativity, Engagement and Inclusion in Learning & Teaching.'

Staff across the College are invited to join us for our upcoming CoMH Learning & Teaching Showcase 2026: Creativity, Engagement and Inclusion in Learning & Teaching.

Taking place on Friday 5 June, 9am–3pm in the Pharmacy Building, the showcase will bring colleagues together to share ideas, explore innovative teaching approaches, and highlight practices that support engaging and inclusive learning.

The event will feature short talks, discussions and opportunities to network with colleagues who are passionate about enhancing teaching and learning. Whether you are looking for inspiration, practical ideas, or simply a chance to connect with others, the showcase aims to provide a welcoming space for conversation and collaboration.

Time: 9am – 3pm
Location: Pharmacy Building, UCC. Rooms LG01 & LG51.

Call for Abstracts

A highlight of our annual showcase is the opportunity to submit, view and discuss poster presentations from across CoMH. 

POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

• Please submit your poster abstract HERE by Friday, April 17^th, 2026, so that the organising group can review to ensure the content aligns with the learning and teaching activities of the College
• Posters should concern learning and teaching projects
• You will receive a response by Friday, 25th April
• Posters must be size A0, Portrait
• CoMH will cover the cost of printing posters and will provide details on the process for poster submission on acceptance

Lego® Serious Play® (LSP) Workshop

9:30am - 10:15am in the Pharmacy Building UCC.

We are delighted to announce that a Lego® Serious Play® (LSP) Workshop will be a new addition to the Showcase schedule.

Explore a creative mindset through Lego Serious Play, with Sinead Moynihan, Lecturer, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, and Lego Serious Play facilitator.

Looking for a fresh perspective, a new way of working, thinking, teaching? Then this mini workshop is for you. No previous LEGO experience needed!
