Our 'H4Y Careers in Healthcare Day in CoMH' was a great success!

The CoMH Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group held a one-day event for transition year and 5th year students who came to UCC to learn about our programmes.
Students had the opportunity to find out more about Dentistry, Nursing & Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Paramedicine, Pharmacy and Speech and Language Therapy.
This event was open to 80 students from across Munster and took take place in our Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, UCC on Wednesday the 11th December 2024 from 9:30am-3:30pm.
We were delighted to meet students who experienced hands-on practice with these careers and had the opportunity to learn more about our programmes.
For students who had never previously considered a career in healthcare but were curious about these professions - this event gave them a greater insight into what the future could hold for this fabulous group of secondary school students.
