Celebrating success at our CoMH Conferrings!

Congratulations to our medical and dental graduates!
Friday 30th May was a special day for the College of Medicine and Health, our newest graduates and their families.
We were proud to see 317 students graduate from the College - earning Degrees, Masters, and PhDs from our School of Medicine and our Dental School and Hospital.
Prof Helen Whelton, Head of the College of Medicine and Health and the Chief Academic Officer for the HSE South West Region, welcomed students to their very special graduation ceremony and acknowledged their dedication, hard work and focus:
"Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone in your lives. You have earned these titles through hard work and perseverance. Well done to each and every one of you.
This is a day of joy, pride, and reflection. You have shown extraordinary dedication, resilience, and compassion - qualities that define not only great students, but great healthcare professionals.
As you prepare to step into vital professions, you do so at a time of both challenge and opportunity. You are ready. You have the skills, the training, and the mindset to make a meaningful difference to your patients and to meet their health needs with compassion and competence. The health services, both in Ireland and the countries you choose to practice in, will be stronger because of your contributions. Your energy, your ideas, and your leadership are essential to shape the future of healthcare, ensuring it remains responsive, innovative and patient-centred even as it is changing."
