‘Decade of Centenaries’ Irish History Competition for Schools 2020

Prize recipients for the ‘Decade of Centenaries’ History Competition for Primary and Post-Primary Schools 2020 were recently announced. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the deadline for submission of the projects was extended into the summer and the prize-giving ceremony has been postponed until further notice. The judging panel from the School of History, UCC, and the Department of Education and Skills, were greatly impressed with the quality of the entries, one of which will be published in a forthcoming issue of History Ireland magazine.
