Winning the Western Approaches conference

Winning the Western Approaches:  Unrestricted Submarine Warfare & the US Navy in Ireland, 1917-18, a conference jointly organised by the School of History and the US Naval War College, will take place in UCC on July 5-7.

The conference on the US Navy in Irish Waters will explore different aspects of the First World War submarine campaign. This conference is free and open to the public. The draft conference programme is available here: Winning the Western Approaches:
