Welcoming new students: a full house for First Year History at UCC

First Year students packed Boole 3 for their Introduction to History session.

Professor David Ryan, Head of School, welcomed the students and wished them every happiness and success at UCC. All staff who teach First Year gave brief introductions to their modules. First Year courses begin with Dr Donal Ó Drisceoil’s Making of the Modern Irish State. Donal is currently co-editing a major contribution to the Decade of Centenaries: Atlas of the Irish Revolution, to be published by Cork University Press. His co-editors are John Crowley and Mike Murphy.
