Greenshoots Update: UCC Community Garden Pitch-in Day

On Wednesday the 12^th of July, a "pitch-in" day was held in UCC Community Garden.

UCC staff and students weeded, pulled old vegetation, cleaned polytunnels and greenhouses, and helped out with other odd jobs. Every participant went away with a bag of fresh produce in return. Great support was provided by Ella, our Greenshoots Garden intern, and craic was had by all.

Any UCC staff or students interested in getting involved in the garden can join us during our open hours (12.30-13.30 on Tuesdays, and 12.30-14.30 on Thursdays) or can email Irene (inishuilleabhain@ucc.ie) for an introduction to the garden.
