€11bn in construction projects already scheduled for 2015

The construction sector in Ireland continues to grow strongly, with €11bn worth of major projects already scheduled for 2015. The figures were released today in a report published by the consultancy Construction Information Services.
Newly-released independent figures from the Central Statistics Office confirmed the growth in activity in the sector, showing that employment is rising faster in the construction sector than any other area of the economy.
The figures were reported in detail in the press including the Irish Independent and online newspaper thejournal.ie, which noted that "the rate of expansion in civil engineering activity, meanwhile, quickened sharply during the month and was the fastest [growth] for eight years".
