Long Acting Reversible Contraception
Discuss with us the option to have a "fit and forget" method of contraception-longer acting methods that don't require you to take a pill every day.
These include:
- Intrauterine Copper Coil
- Intrauterine Systems
- Sub-Dermal Implant - "The Bar"
Each of these methods are free of charge to those students 31 years and younger, living in Ireland, or expecting to live in Ireland, for 12 months or more.
If you do not qualify for this on age grounds you may avail of these services in UCC Student Health at a reasonable cost.
