Emergency Contraceptive Options

If you are not using a method of contraception and you have sex and you want to take urgent measures to prevent pregnancy, contact UCC Student Health as soon as possible to arrange a consultation for Emergency Contraception.

The Emergency Contraception options available to you through UCC Student Health are:

• "Morning After Pills"
• Insertion of a Coil

Each of these methods are free of charge to those students living in Ireland 31 years and younger,, or expecting to live in Ireland, for 12 months or more.

If you do not qualify for this on age grounds you may avail of these services in UCC Student Health at a reasonable cost.
