UCC Science Studio Showcased at IWish 2025

Dr Eric Moore and colleagues from the School of Chemistry, UCC recently attended the I Wish showcase event at the RDS.
They are part of the Higher Education Authority Virtual Labs project, a collaboration among five higher education institutions in Ireland.
A key initiative of the project is the Science Studio in UCC’s Kane building, where live experiments are filmed and students engage in virtual reality demonstrations. This helps to broaden participation in STEM and showcase research to a wider audience.
I WISH is a community dedicated to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for girls through outreach, mentorship, further education programmes, and other activities.
