Professor Guangbo Hao Named One of the Top 10 Chinese Science & Technology Leaders in Europe

Professor Guangbo Hao, School of Engineering & Architecture, University College Cork was honoured at the UCPAE Europe Forum 2025 in Helsinki with the prestigious award: “10 Leading Chinese Talents on Science and Technology Leaders in Europe 2025”.
This recognition from the UCPAE (United Chinese Professional Associations in Europe) places Professor Hao in an elite group alongside peers from renowned institutions such as EPFL, Eindhoven University of Technology, and high-tech firms like LiangDao GmbH.
The forum on 11-12 September also celebrated 75 years of China–Finland diplomatic relations and 50 years of China–Europe diplomatic ties. It continues to be a vital platform for fostering collaboration between Chinese and European scientific communities.
