Thermo Fisher Scientific Prize in Organic Chemistry 2025
Caoimhe McGrath was presented with the UCC Thermo Fisher Scientific Prize in Organic Chemistry for 2025 at the School of Chemistry University College Cork Undergraduate Awards ceremony recently.
To recognise her achievement, Caoimhe received a €1,000 cash prize along with a commemorative plaque.
Thermo Fisher Scientific generously support the annual award ceremony for the School of Chemistry and are a valued collaborator on several key research projects.
Open to all UCC students that completed third year in Chemistry throughout the 2024/25 academic year, the prize is awarded annually to the student who passes with the highest combined mark in the Organic Chemistry modules.
