World Surf Kayak medal for PhD student Autumn O'Donnell

Autumn O'Donnell, PhD student in UCC's School of Mathematical Sciences, has achieved an impressive 4th place overall at the World Surf Kayak Championships in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
Autumn’s dedication and skill have earned her this accolade, and it is a testament to her hard work and passion. We are delighted to celebrate her achievement and wish her continued success in her academic and athletic pursuits.
The World Surf Kayak Championships are organised by the World Surf Kayak Association (WSKA). This global event brings together surf kayakers from different countries, promoting friendly competition and cultural exchange. The championships are held every two years, showcasing top talent in surf kayaking. This year's event took place from 3-13 May 2024.
