New Connections Student Bursaries Showcase

A mini-symposium for our New Connections student bursary recipients was recently held in the Mardyke Pavilion.
New Connections is a research initiative from the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science. Participating students presented their work and discussed what they enjoyed about their summer placement along with their future research plans.
The event provided a unique opportunity to meet the bursary students and hearing about the first step on their research journey. The audience also enjoyed learning from current STEM PhD students about PhD life, their career, and its benefits. Thank you to all who attended and who participated in the Student Bursary programme.
