Chemistry Team Wins UCC Marchathon 2022

Congratulations to the School of Chemistry team, 'Between a Walk and a Hard Pace', who are the overall winners of the UCC Marchathon 2022.
Marchathon is an active step counting fitness competition, held over the month of March. The competition was open to all staff in the university and involves each team member counting their daily steps, and recording these numbers into Active Travel Logger.
'Between a Walk and a Hard Pace' consisted of School of Chemistry staff members Anna Hogan, Dave Otway, Elizabeth Gilchrist, Ian O'Connor, Imelda Power, and Thomas O'Mahony. In addition to winning the UCC competition, they also placed in the top 30 of 921 teams in the national competition.
