Professor Nabeel Riza chairs Nobel Prize lecture at international optics congress

Chair Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Nabeel A. Riza, School of Engineering and Architecture was appointed as Chair of the prestigious Nobel Prize Lecture Plenary Session at the recently held ICO: International Commission for Optics 25th General Congress, Dresden, Germany,
The Nobel Lecture was delivered by Professor Dr Stefan W. Hell, Director, Max Planck Institutes at Göttingen and Heidelberg who was co-awarded the 2014 Nobel Prize for his work in high resolution optical microscopy. Professor Hell is also the 2000 International Commission for Optics (ICO) Prize winner.
Professor Nabeel Riza received the 2001 ICO Prize and was also Chair of the Optical MEMS and Micro-Optics Conference, one of 19 Conferences held at the ICO-25 Congress.
