ADVANCE Inaugural Induction Event

The SFI Centres for Research Training in Advanced Networks for Sustainable Societies (ADVANCE) held its inaugural Induction Event on the 8th and 9th of January at the Western Gateway Building, UCC.
Over 60 people attended from across the ADVANCE student and supervisor cohorts as well as external industry representatives from Huawei, Commscope, ublox, JaguarLandRover, McKesson, Nokia Bell Labs and United Technologies Research Centre. The event focused on the exciting research that is being carried out in ADVANCE and the work placements ADVANCE students will be able to avail off with industry during their time at ADVANCE.
