Zoology: William C Campbell Scholarship
The Department of Education has established a third-level scholarship to honour Irish scientist and Nobel Prize winner Professor William C Campbell. The scholarship is open to those intending to study Zoology.
The full details of the scholarship are outlined here and the application form is here. Students who complete their Leaving Certificate this year at a DEIS school are eligible to apply.
The applicant must have studied at least two science subjects at Leaving Certificate level and have applied to stuudy for a degree in Zoology, Medicine, Physiology or Biomedical Sciences. The student recieves €5,000 for each year of their undergraduate programme.
