Congratulations to Kevin Murphy, this year's worthy recipient of the Cunningham Award for his undergraduate mapping project carried out on the island of Kerrera.
This is awarded annually by the Geological Survey of Ireland for the best undergraduate geological mapping project carried out in Irish Universities. In presenting the award, Dr Brian McConnell (GSI) said that the detail and quality recorded on Kevin's fields maps and in his notebooks were some of the best he had ever seen. Well done Kevin and well deserved.
