Travel bursary for PhD student Kate English

The College of Medicine and Health have awarded Physiology PhD student Kate English a Doctoral student travel bursary.

The Bursary is to facilitate her attendance at the European Muscle Conference being held in Salzburg from the 10th to the 14th of September. This bursary will cover the cost of registration and travel to and from the conference, and will enable Kate to talk about her work on proteins involved in  excitation contraction coupling in skeletal muscle and to meet the leaders of the field.
