Dr. Jennifer Hollywood to co-chair research symposium at 11th European Cystic Fibrosis Society basic science meeting

The European Cystic Fibrosis Society basic science meeting attracts some of the world's leading scientists on an annual basis to describe their latest research into the causes and potential treatments for cystic fibrosis.

Dr Jennifer Hollywood, a post-doc in the labs of Dr. Patrick Harrison and Dr. Martina Scallan, has been invited to co-chair one of the research sessions at this year's meeting in Malta on the topic of "CFTR potentiators, correctors and treatments of cystic fibrosis".

In addition to co-chairing the session, Jennifer will also be presenting details of her latest research using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to correct CF-causing mutations.
