Health Matters Day
The 1st ever UCC Health Matters Day was held on October 6th 2013. The purpose of UCC Health Matters Day is to raise awareness of the importance of keeping a healthy body and mind as a student, and as a staff member. There were many activities which raised awareness aroumd health issues on the day.

Health Matters Day 2014 was held on the 18th of November 2014, and included events such as treadmill and rowing machine competitions, laughter yoga, a blood transfusion drive, and much much more!
In 2015 we had another year of health and success on Health Matters day with events including a spinathon. We also had the Marie Keating van on campus to provide free, confidential cancer information for both staff and students!
We are very excited to get ready for Health Matters Day 2016 where we will be sure to have even more exciting health related activities and stands on campus so be sure to come along!
