UCC Sport’s key priority is to have as many people possible enjoy sport be active in UCC. We want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to get involved in a UCC Sports club regardless of ability or interest. Whether you want to experience something new or commit to your chosen sport, there are lots of opportunities to get involved. We have clubs from Archery to Volleyball and many more in between.

UCC Soccer steps onto a new stage with launch of FAI National League

University College Cork Soccer Club will take its place among the founding clubs of the new Football Association of Ireland (FAI) National League this season, creating a new opportunity for UCC student athletes to compete at national level and marking a significant new chapter for football at the University and in Cork. A launch event took place on 26 August 2026 at the Mardyke Pavilion to mark the occasion.
