Welcome to UCC Cricket, we're based in the Farm, Curraheen Sports Grounds for our outdoor season during the summer months. We train in Colaiste Chriost Ri for our indoor cricket. We cater for beginners through to advanced.
About Us
Formed in 1978/79, the UCC Cricket Club has grown into a prominent club both in Munster and within the Irish University Cricket Association (IUCA). We regularly participate in the Munster Division 1 league (45 overs) and T20s, and in 2022, we had the prestigious opportunity to play in the Premier Division, the highest level of cricket in Munster.
In addition to these competitions, we also compete in the indoor (Belfast) and outdoor inter-varsity IUCA championships. We are excited to expand our own Indoor T-10 league this year, adding another exciting dimension to our club activities.
Our club is a truly international community, bringing together students, employees, and alumni from within and beyond Ireland, all based in Cork. We pride ourselves on this diverse and inclusive environment.
We train indoors from September to March, with sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm. From April to September, we move our training outdoors, with sessions on weekends from 10-4 and Wednesdays from 6-9pm.
