The Midsummer festival is upon us, with an eclectic and exciting programme spanning until June 23rd. Many UCC Theatre alumni and friends are presenting and contributing to work at the festival this year, including in the following shows.

UCC Youth Theatre (UCCYT) will host a free workshop for young people aged 13+ with an interest in gaining Theatre skills, developing creatively, and meeting new people.

IN HER HEAD consists of three short theatre adaptations created by UCC Department of Theatre Final Year students. A common thread running through the three pieces is the experience of being a woman in the world.

The Department of Theatre at University College Cork is hosting an online webinar to provide information about two of its taught postgraduate programmes, on the 21st of March 3-3:30pm. 

The UCC 2nd Year Theatre and Performative Practices students present their performance "Rasharemix", a response to the film Rashomon.

CurrentLee Arts Festival is an interactive event at Cork Opera House on the 10th of April, 2024. Overlooking the River Lee, the festival celebrates this unique city by bringing people in and of Cork together. In collaboration with Cork-based artists, we invite you to create and explore through an immersive journey within the Opera House.
