University College Cork signs Memorandum of Understanding with Coláiste na Rinne

On Friday 14 February 2020, Professor John O'Halloran, Registrar and Vice-President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of UCC with Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Phort Láirge.

This Memorandum expresses a mutual commitment to teaching and learning activities in the Waterfod Gaeltacht, including courses provided for UCC students by the Coláiste, and allows for further collaborations to be developed between the two institutions. This event marked a significant step forward in UCC's policy of engagment with Gaeltacht communities.

 

Ar an 14 Feabhra 2020 shínigh an tOllamh Seán Ó hAllmhuráin, Cláraitheoir agus Leas-Uachtarán, Meamram Tuisceana idir Coláiste na hOllscoile, Corcaigh agus Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Phort Láirge. Cuireann an Meamram seo comhdhúthracht in iúl maidir le cúraimí teagaisc agus foghlama i nGaeltacht na nDéise - ina mbeadh san áireamh cúrsaí a sholáthraíonn Coláiste na Rinne do mhic léinn Choláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh - agus cuireann bunús faoi pháirtíochtaí eile a tharlóidh idir an dá institiúid san am atá le teacht. Dul chun cinn suaithinseach ab ea é seo i gcaidreamh an Choláiste Ollscoile le pobal na Gaeltachta.
