Deputy President & Registrar Professor John O’Halloran presents Cork hurling legend Dónal Óg Cusack with the recently launched UCC Sports Strategy

Dónal Óg Cusack was in UCC recently to launch the LGBT+ Allies scheme for staff. We were delighted to welcome him to UCC and took the opportunity to present him with a copy of our recently launched Sports Strategy Document.

This new strategy aims to support all students and staff at UCC to participate in sport and physical activity at their chosen level. It sets out 27 specific actions to be implemented across six priority areas, providing a framework to ensure that sport at UCC is supported, elevated and celebrated.
