IUPS 38th World Congress (Rhythms of Life)
Professor Ken O’Halloran travelled to Brazil in August, which will next year host the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) 38th World Congress in Rio de Janeiro.
The International Scientific Program Committee met in the city of São Paulo to consider plans for the upcoming congress and principally to conduct the difficult task of selecting symposia from a wealth of exciting proposals submitted by enthusiasts from around the globe. Professor O’Halloran is Meetings Secretary of The Physiological Society, a partner Society, which will support the congress by way of sponsored symposia and the hosting of prestigious prize lectures at the congress, including the Annual Review Lecture.
Our colleagues from the Brazilian Physiological Society warmly welcome all to join them in celebration of the rhythms of life in the exciting city of Rio!
