UCC School of Law has been ranked among the world’s best Law Schools in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject published today.

The QS Subject Rankings identify the word’s leading schools in particular fields, taking into account academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. UCC School of Law has been consistently positioned in the Top 100 University Law Schools for the past four years due to its strengths across these fields.

Welcoming the news, Professor Mark Poustie, Dean of the School of Law said:

I am delighted that the School has been ranked in the top 100 Law Schools globally for the fourth year running.  This reflects the very high regard in which the School’s research and legal education is held across the world by academics and employers.  I’m very proud of my colleagues and our students who all make a contribution to the overall ranking - it has been a real team-effort. There is no doubt that the continued Top 100 ranking will significantly benefit the School and will benefit UCC more broadly. I am very grateful to all those academics and employers who responded to the QS subject rankings survey on behalf of the School.
