Final Year Showcase Curtain Call

As FYP showcase comes to an end, hear and see what students have to say.

"For me the FYP was more than just a college module. It was a chance to show our work to the public and I will look back on it with a great sense of pride and accomplishment". – Stefan Healy

"It feels quite surreal that its over now having worked on it for so long but i like to think this isn't the last you see of betwixt one man and i really I couldn't be prouder of our pieces and how well they went !" – Tommy O’Connor

"Most challenging but rewarding experience of my life. The run was incredibly enjoyable, especially when your creating and performing with friends" – Aideen Fox

"FYP being over is kind of bittersweet - 6 months of hard work is over but so is 6 months of creating with my group, which I’ll definitely miss. I think the show in general went better than we could have imagined - no matter what happens, we made our own original piece of theatre and that’s something that will stay with me after I finish college". – Issey Fenton

"The week of the show was great and I’m quite sad that’s it’s over , what am I going to do with all my spare time hahah , the dress rehearsal was a little wobbly and I forgot a few lines and we discovered we were a few minutes over time so we decided to cut out a few pages of text a day before the show went up. Thursday was our favourite audience as it was the UCC youth theatre and there was lots of laughs which gave us great energy . Friday night was a quieter audience but Saturday picked back up and family and friends came to see us . It was great bringing our piece to an audience as with a comedic piece we feed our responses and energy from the spectators" – Ciara Conroy
