'Highlights.' UCC FSM 3rd Year Showcase event, 7pm Tues 16th May @The Rising Sons Brewery, Cornmarket Street.

Join UCC’s BA in Film & Screen Media 3rd Year Students as they present 'Highlights', an evening celebrating some of their outstanding work from 2016-17.
The third year students of UCC’s BA in Film & Screen Media have been hard at work putting together a programme of shorts for your viewing pleasure, they would be delighted if you could join them in celebrating the end of their time with UCC FSM.
"Highlights is the culmination of three years of dreaming, determination, passion, perfectionism, late nights and early morning. Umbrellas held over cameras and brown envelopes slipped under the doors of lecturers. (just kidding) Three years of highs and lows. Laughter and tears. Some serious fun and above all some seriously hard work.
With 24 films screened over 4 days in 3 separate categories, there is a veritable cornucopia of fresh filmmaking talent lies ahead of you. But in spite of the diversity of work on show, Highlights tells only a little of the tale of this group of fresh faced and fearless undergraduates. Highlights is just that, the highlights. The pinnacle. The zenith. The best of compilation album. So step right up and prepare to be dazzled by the brightest the beadiest and the best as the UCC Film and Screen Media graduates of 2017 proudly present "Highlights”.”
