Real-Time Video at the Edge
Dr Jason Quinlan and Professor Cormac Sreenan will chair their accepted special session @ Multimedia Systems Conference (MMSys) 2019, titled “Real-Time Video at the Edge – managing and provisioning Fog computing services for real-time streaming at the wireless Edge”.
This special session on Edge Computing for Real-time Video Analytics and Stream Optimisation is intended to illustrate the role of Cloud Computing at the wireless edge and how the next generation of wireless networks will use these architectures and protocols to cope with the increasing demand of novel video applications with strict quality-of-service delay-sensitive high-throughput demands.
