Postgraduate Skills Centre Tutor

The UCC Skills Centre is currently seeking individuals for the position of a UCC Skills Centre tutor. If you are interested in working with the UCC Skills Centre, please fill out the form linked below.   
Opportunities exist for Postgraduate students to work as a Skills Centre tutor with students and staff with academic, study, presentation, and digital skills. These tutoring sessions involve working on a one-to-one basis with students or delivering workshops to students of any level, and occasionally staff. These duties take place both online and in person. Previous experience of working as a tutor is desirable but not necessary as training will be provided.

  • Please note that this is a paid position. Hourly Postgraduate Tutorial rate applies. You can find out more about the rate of pay and details of hourly occasional UCC staff through the  Recruitment of Student Help.  
  • As part of our commitment to providing UCC registered students with employment, please note you should only apply if you will be a newly registered or returning postgraduate student in UCC at the beginning of the 24/25 academic year in UCC. 
  • This work is occasional hourly and based upon your schedule and the requirements of the centre. Your own studies and timetable will take priority over work with the Skills Centre and all hours will be agreed upon by both parties in advance.
Submissions are now open for the 24/25 Academic Year and will close at 11pm on Wed 31st July 2024. If applying, please note we will be in contact with you in the middle of August and interviews will be lined up for late August. All training will take place in person on campus in September.
