Symposium Themes

The use of digital/remote teaching is not new and the digital turn in education has been well documented. However, in this last year there has been a forceful digital switch from offline to online, with little preparation time, across a range of subjects that otherwise would have had a slower transition into digital spaces.

With this symposium we wish to step back and reflect on changes, developments, and growth across the field of performative teaching and learning. What exactly does it mean to go performative in digital education? What have we gained in these new spaces and what have we lost? The 8th Scenario Forum Symposium will revolve around new and existing connections and collaborations between educational sectors and the performative arts.
