Connie O'Connell to receive TG4 Gradam Ceoil Cumadóir/Composer Award.

Many congratulations to our wonderful fiddle tutor, Connie O'Connell who has been awarded the prestigious TG4 Gradam Ceoil Cumadóir/Composer Award.

Over 60 of Connie's compositions are available to view on his online UCC resource, ‘Bóithrín na Smaointe’, which can be accessed at: http://epu.ucc.ie/connieoconnell/

Connie joins a number of Department graduates as well as current and former staff whose contributions to Irish traditional music have been recognised by TG4 Gradam Ceoil awards.

The awards ceremony will take place at the National Concert Hall at 9.30pm on April 17th. The concert will be also broadcasted live on TG4.
